This Guda Double drum has one side tuned in Zen Trance scale and the other side has Equinox tuning. You can play them solo or even both simultaneously. Zen Trance is ideal scale for meditating and concentration, also good for fast playing and improvising; it has two full octaves (from low E to high E). Equinox is jazzy scale, it is very multi-purpose and universal
The first side (with double tongues) has a full loud sound with huge sustain. The second side has more percussive sound with wooden-like tones and also has rich sound with long sustain
