Ortus Brass, Major scale

Guda Ortus Brass tongue drum is one of our latest models and we we managed to create a combination of a reach tone, good low end, excellent resonance and compact size. This tongue pan is made of brass and aluminum (the unique combination of metals that only Zen Percussion company uses fro creating Guda tongue drums and tonguepans). Ortus Brass tongue drum has original goblet shape for better sound volume and sustain.  Major scale, 440 Hz tuning by default (could be ordered also with 432 Hz tuning). Custom design. Guda Ortus Brass tongue drum comes with free bag, mallets and rope decoration. OM pickup is optional

Guda Ortus Brass tongue pan combines a reach tone, good low end, excellent resonance and compact sizes. Ortus tongue drums have original goblet shape which provides a good sound volume even for compact instruments. Moreover, such shape is very comfy, especially when you hold Ortus on your lap. Brass top provides good lows and warm tone without any metallic "taste", while aluminum "goblet-shaped" bottom side provides huge resonace and loudness. Ortus tongue drum has the quality and loudness of sound that exceeds ones of the much larger drums, while its dimensions and weight are very small: only 35 cm (14") diameter and about 2 kg (4,5-5 pounds) weight

This major scale has good low end (the key of D). Lovely and flexible scale.
